The month of June ushers in the wintry season with shorter days, cold nights and hopefully more rain. With the rain God often leaves a reminder in the sky of His promise to all mankind; the promise being, that God will never flood the whole earth again as He did in the days of Noah. How beautiful it is that we Christians are reminded of God’s goodness every time we see a rainbow. We have so many more beautiful promises laid out in the Word of God. A promise from God really means something, in fact it’s as good as done because in Jeremiah 17:7 it says “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust IS the LORD.” Everything He says, Everything He is, IS our trust. He is totally reliable, He’s not just trustworthy, He IS our trust. His very nature encompasses the word ‘trust’. That’s how He operates, He doesn’t operate in any other way, it’s impossible for God NOT to be trustworthy. There’s never a time when you can’t trust God to do what He has said and promised He will do because God is our trust and He keeps His promises.
