God has always been (and always will be) BIG! He’s big in love, big in mercy, big in grace. He’s everywhere at all times; He’s BIG! But as we live our busy lives, we distance ourselves from Him and He may become ‘small’ to us. The smaller He becomes, the less worth we place on Him. If God is small in your life, you can’t convince me that you are worshiping Him, because you don’t worship something that has little worth. King David in Psalm 34 says, “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” This doesn’t mean that we have to make God somehow bigger than He already is, because He is larger than life and already far greater than any magnification. However, we do need to constantly make an effort to ‘increase’ God in OUR sight. Keep looking to Him in all things and giving Him the praise for His goodness toward us.
