Hitting the Mark

For a good number of years now, I have likened my prayers to flaming arrows fired into the devil’s territory. I know that the devil certainly shoots his arrows my way because in Ephesians 6:16 it says, “… take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” But I see my prayers as God’s arrows being fired back!

Coward Punch

Our salvation (God’s wonderful redemption plan for us) is a promise from God that cannot be broken. Let us wear it on our heads guarding our minds in Christ Jesus. Let us be aware of the depth of relationship with God we have through our salvation. Let us display His glorious salvation, in the way we live, as a beautiful tall plume falling majestically down from our helmets which is symbolic of the victory we have in God.

New Name

When a person becomes a true Christian, I believe their earthly name takes on a whole new meaning. Because with His ressurection power working within them they redefine who they are.

Palm Sunday

Here He was, Jesus Christ, the representative, the Messiah of God, entering Jerusalem, the Holy City, to deal with the sins of mankind for all time!
