Scriptures
Romans 12:3
For by the grace given me, I say to every one of you: Do not think of
yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with
sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to
each of you.
Romans 12:4-5
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these
members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though
many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Psalm 133:1
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in
unity!
Romans 12:6-8
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your
faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if
it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then
give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show
mercy, do it cheerfully.
Ephesians 4:11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists,
the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so
that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in
the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in
him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Colossians 1:17-18
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he
is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the
firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the
supremacy.
